LOCATION: the incident occurred near McBride, British Columbia.
DATE: sometime around June 10, 1976
OBSERVED: a large, black creature ran across the road on two legs and down through the mountains. there were more than a dozen people who saw it.
ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES): the witnesses were driving down the road (note: the story above was told to me by my parents. I was not one of the witnesses.)
ENVIRONMENT: the Frasier river is near. The landscape is covered in dense forest and is situated between the Jasper national park and the Wells Gray park.
