Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Scott Taylor:
After interviewing the witness, there are three things that stand out about this report.
First, the evening of Sunday September 2nd, it was reported that the bird dog belonging to the witness spotted something in the woods which made it go "on point", and also frightened it so badly that it was shaking. They ended up putting the dog in the truck.
Second, when the witness awoke on Monday morning, September 3rd, he hear four loud footsteps of something big walking away from his camp site.
Third, both the witness and his girlfriend heard wood knocks for about 20 minutes starting around an hour after the heavy footsteps. The pattern was such that it could not have been a woodpecker or other cause.
Based on these three facts, I can only conclude that the witness and his girlfriend had a class B encounter with a sasquatch. It is very likely that they were observed through the night.
