Possible sasquatch activity reported by a father and his sons near Falkland

YEAR: 2009

SEASON: Fall

MONTH: October

DATE: 17

PROVINCE: British Columbia

COUNTRY: Canada

LOCATION DETAILS: Have to show you the area where we drove but it is easy access from the main highway.

NEAREST TOWN: Falkland

NEAREST ROAD: Hyway 97

OBSERVED: Me and my 2 boys (13 and 16) planned our second expedition so see whether sasquatches were in a mountain area 12 kilometers from Falkland B.C.
We had planned to take the logging roads as they seem to be the best and fastest way to get up high in the hills. We are also hoping to find footprints in muddy soil or soft sand. On Oct. 17th 2009 we headed up the logging road around 11:00 a.m. (We need to find out the name of the mountain area where we were.) Wish we had the info for you. Anyway, we were driving up the logging road and decided to stop to make knocking sounds and wooping to see if we could make any contacts from sasquatches in the bush. My son hit the rocks together 2 times. Then waited and he hit them again and about 5-6 seconds later there was 1 knock in the woods below the hill. The same type of sound we have heard before. Usually a single knock in return.
But the coolest thing that day was we ran into 9-10 possible nests. 1 was off the road right by our van and the others were up on the other side of the hill. (I have pics from my phone if you would like to see them.) We climbed the hill and saw more farther up. At least they looked like shelters that were built by trees pushed over and bent in an arch with other sticks laid in different positions around the shelter. Some were laid straight and next to each other while others were on top of each other. They may have been abandoned. Near the top of the hill there was a nest area or shelter where I found an imprint in the ground that I believe could be a footprint. I plaster casted it but underneath the cast was very marked up because the print was in a mossy, stick like area (pine needles) but the size of the print is there. About 5-6 inches across and 12 inches long with a rounded corner that looked like a possible big toe. (left foot) You would have to see it yourself to be sure. The print was in the ground about 4 inches and I did'nt really look around for more very thoroughly. The ground is hard in this area but I think the animal just happen to step into this soft mossy area and left this print. Me and the boys as we drive farther up the mountain saw more, looked like partly started nests along the way. We did't investigate as we will be going up there at another time. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining. Well, that's about all I have to say. Thanks for listening and if I could send my pics to you of the nests or have you guys investigate yourselves, that would be great. Thanks again.....OBFE

ALSO NOTICED: In the morning time before we found the nests my boys were in the woods near the same logging road area and heard lots of sounds contributing to sasquatch. Knocks, woops ect. My 13 year old heard a strange sound which we both heard at Echo Lake during the mid-morning hour back on Oct. 2nd. A sound of like a growling mechanical sound. Hard to explain. Like a machine was running for a brief moment but there were no machines running in the area. The sound lasted longer when we were at Echo Lake. Wierd.

OTHER WITNESSES: just me and my 2 boys

TIME AND CONDITIONS: It was a sunny day with a few clouds. Somewhat cold at times.

ENVIRONMENT: dense trees, pine trees, hills, on a mountainside

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Milan Kubik:

I spoke with reportee on numerous occasions since our first contact. He and his boys do their own investigations and have found some interesting things as you have read in their report.

Here is one photo of a possible "nest".

These are often found in areas of reported sasquatch activity. There is some speculation that these could also be a type of "blind" used by sasquatches for hunting purposes.

I will keep in contact with him into the future and will update as needed.

About BFRO Investigator Milan Kubik:

I have been interested in the Bigfoot/Sasquatch mystery since a very early age. I had my first sighting of a Sasquatch in the fall of 2006 and have been actively researching in the field ever since.
Attended the Northern Ontario expedition.
