OBSERVED: I live in White County Tennessee. On the 15th of April I was driving to the store, driving past a cultivated field. I looked over at the field and saw a very large sasquach standing approximately 75 yards from the road, facing the road. At the same time, a smaller one was running from the fence row to a stand of trees close to the larger one.
I turned around and went back in hopes I would get a picture. Both were gone. The large one was black or dark brown, very large and muscular. It's arms hung down to or past its knees. There was no doubt what I saw was a sasquach. The younger or smaller one was moving fast from the fence row to the stand of trees. It had a long stride, swinging it's arms in rhythm with its stride. It was also of a dark color.
OTHER WITNESSES: 0
TIME AND CONDITIONS: It was afternoon, no rain and somewhat overcast
ENVIRONMENT: It was a cultivated field with a stand of trees in it, close the a fencerow with a larger stand of trees
Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Wayne Tillett:
I interviewed and talked with the witness several times through emails and phone conversations. Recently I had an opportunity to ride out to his home near Sparta to meet with him and see the field he mentioned in his report.
It was a sunny and hot day when we met in person. The area of the sighting is less than a few miles from his house. The field itself is on private farm land so I wasn't able to walk the property that day. The sighting occured a few months prior, so evidence, if any, was most likely long gone.
The witness is a retired Marine and his son is on active duty right now. There has been a member of his family serving our country since the 1700's. He is also a former police officer.
The day of his sighting he was driving to his local store. He passed this field that he has passed hundreds of times. That day the two figures caught his eye. The first one was very large, estimated between 7 and 8 feet tall. It stood at a tree break in the field while a smaller one was running up from behind. Both creatures were covered in black hair from head to toe.
There is an old radio/ transmitter station next to the field. He turned into that parking lot to go back to see if he could get a picture. When he drove by after turning around, the figures were no longer in view.
The field itself is very small, situated by two areas of thick woods. He thinks the larger one was watching out for the smaller one and they probably made their way into the trees just a few yards away.
His estimation of the height of the first creature checks out as the tree line hasn't changed. He pointed to the tall branch that it was standing next to. The area itself is situated along a row of fields and a few farms and houses here and there. The land, though not completely secluded, is rich in food and water along with adequate cover.
The witness added that several weeks after sending in his report, he passed a local man who was picking black berries along the fence row where the sighting took place. He stopped his truck to say hi to the man. He mentioned to the man that he thought he saw two bigfoots there just a short time before. The man picking the berries seemed nonplussed and told the witness that he too had seen one walking the next field over just a few years before.
This witness is very credible and truthful about what he saw that day. He has invited me to come back and look around some. I do plan to do that in the fall, once the heat breaks.
