OBSERVED: I live on the top of Skiff Mountain in Kent ct in one of the origional skiff family homesteads. At 7:45 pm tonight, April 10th while bringing in my trash cans I heard 2 whoops coming from my 100 acre property which includes some wooded areas. The whoops were about 3 minutes apart. After the second I pulled out my camera and started recording. It didn’t make another noise. I heard no movement through the brush or trees. I stood outside for about another 5 minutes just listening and heard nothing but birds and peepers

ALSO NOTICED: The birds were unafraid and never stopped singing

TIME AND CONDITIONS: 7:45 pm

ENVIRONMENT: Top of mountain. Farmland, woods, preserves all around. Close to the stream/spring on my property
