Creature observed strolling in the woods

YEAR: 1993

SEASON: Summer

MONTH: August

PROVINCE: British Columbia

COUNTRY: Canada

LOCATION DETAILS: Inzana Lake, north of Fort St. James

OBSERVED: A very large hominid walking near the top of a tree line on a clear cut beside the lake.

ALSO NOTICED: We had noticed tree planters working on the same clear cut for the first five days. This is how I was able to judge the being as having a very large physique. also noted was the fact that it had a fluid somewhat athletic gait. It's speed was deceiving because it looked like a person out for a leisurely stroll yet when I looked back to the point I first saw it there was an amazing amount of ground covered in a short time. Once again I was able to judge this from watching the tree planters from the days before. Now will tell you right now that I am an avid bear hunter and nobody can tell me that it was a bear because I have hunted and shot bear every season since 1986.

OTHER WITNESSES: Myself and two friends spent the last seven and a half days fishing and heading down the lake to the lodge where our truck and boat trailer were parked.

ENVIRONMENT: The lake is about a half a mile wide. The clear cut is approxiamatly 500 metres high and 600 metres long. Also the clear cut acsends a little more than three quarters the height of the hill.
