Early 1950's, between Peachland and Princeton ; sighting at a logging camp during the day while loggers were away from camp. Camp cook was the only one at the camp when incident occured.
August, 1997; Bowron Lake ; Nightime sighting at a campsite 500 miles north of Vancouver. Witness mentioned wolves were howling previous night.
January 1993, near Naksup ; tracks in snow found by a forest service technician in a very remote area accessible only by helicopter.
July 20, 1997; Frazer River plateau; Four footprints discovered ranging from 16 - 18 inches long.
Summer, 1973; Langley; Strange sounds heard at summer camp; animals reported missing.
Summer, 1983; on the Sunshine Coast, near Gibsons; Hikers are followed by a 8-10 foot tall black creature, later that night they heard a series of roars.
May 1977, near Mission on Highway 7; a sighting by a bus driver and four passengers.
June, 1986 Sunshine coast 30 miles north west of Vancouver; Hikers spot a 9-10 foot tall black creature, and find a possible resting place of the creature
June 10th, 1976 near McBride, British Columbia;Witnesses describe a large, black creature running across the road on two legs.
1914, near Port Douglas ; sightings and rumors among local Indians.
August 27th, 1995, in the woods near Lake Kootenay ; a sighting by two men on a canoe trip.
1988, in Strathcona Provincial Park, Vancouver Island ; a wildlife biologist finds tracks. In 1992 he hears apelike vocalizations near Comox Lake, Vancouver Island.
