LOCATION DETAILS: Elyria, Ohio just off Taylor Street near North Ridgeville, Ohio

OBSERVED: I cannot rememeber the year it happened however it was the early part of the 1980's. There was a report of several sightings in Elyria, Ohio which started just off of Talor Street near some woods. The man that saw the Bigfoot said that the Bigfoot ran through deep mud to get away. The man tried to pursue the Bigfoot however simply could not navigate the mud as fast as the Bigfoot.

The Chronicle Telegram reported the story and had at least one follow up story listing other sightings throughout the state. The Chronicle printed a map of the State of Ohio showing a trail through and around Columbus all the way to West Virginia via the Ohio Power land in Southern Ohio. It seems to me that one person that the Chronicle wrote about had a hair sample from a barbed wire fence. Hope that the information helps.
