(Show Printer-friendly Version)

YEAR: 2003

SEASON: Spring

MONTH: May

STATE: Ohio

COUNTY: Medina County

LOCATION DETAILS: Just south of Lodi, Ohio.

NEAREST TOWN: Lodi

NEAREST ROAD: Rt. 83

OBSERVED: I saw a large hunched over creature about 8 feet tall. It was walking on the elevated tracks behind my house and then preceded to sprint down the tracks and jump down into the brush on the other side of the tracks. It was very fast and it had black hair all over. Looked like a monkey and man mix.

TIME AND CONDITIONS: Around 11 PM and it was clear out.

ENVIRONMENT: Open rairoad tracks on a hill. There are trees and thick brush on both sides of the hill.

Follow-up investigation report:

The witness was very puzzled on what he saw. Was certain it wasn't a bear or another person. It never looked in the witness's direction before it ran down the tracks and then down into the underbrush. Very, very fast. He also noted it was walking / running upright the whole time while in view.
