Approxiamate location of witness when rock throwing occurred 47.811278, -120.712028 ]
NEAREST TOWN: Plain NEAREST ROAD: Hwy 207 OBSERVED: I was fishing below the outflow from lake Wenatchee. Downstream from the lake, but not as far down as Plain, WA. Anyways as I was walking the bank, by myself, I suddenly stopped because I had a feeling come over me that I was being watched. Very strange feeling that I had never had before. In my youth I fished a lot of small streams and out of the way places and NEVER had a feeling like this. I paused and looked all around, saw nothing. I then proceeded to the river, waded out a little and started fishing. I was not far from the opposite riverbank. Then all of a sudden, a golf ball sized rock flew by my head. I saw it, could tell the rough trajectory from which it was thrown. I put the bill of my cap down and scanned the opposite shoreline. Looked closely, checked up and down the area, nothing. Went back to fishing and as soon as I took my eyes off the opposite bank another rock flew by head. At this point I became unnerved and backed out of the river and back to my truck.
ALSO NOTICED: Only 2 things can throw rocks and believe me there were no people around. Convinced it was sasquatch. OTHER WITNESSES: None OTHER STORIES: In reading the reports on BFRO from this area is definitely a hotspot. Also I previously submitted report 4392. TIME AND CONDITIONS: This happened about 8am. Clear sunny and cool day ENVIRONMENT: River edge not far down stream from the 207 bridge over the Wenatchee river.
Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Scott Taylor:
I was able to talk to this witness. I also just happened to be camping there within walking distance only a couple of weeks ago. I hiked over to look over the site. Much has changed over the last 35 years. In 1990, he said that the area on the south side of the river was all woods and brush. Today, there are numerous cabins and houses there. Due to natural processes, the river has changed somewhat too.
This is approximately where the witness was standing.

This is a view from the bridge, showing where the witness was standing.

There are two factors that lead me to believe that a sasquatch was harassing him.
First, he had a very strong feeling of being watched as he approached the area. Did he experience “the vibe” or infrasound? Possibly. Many people report that feeling when in close proximity to a sasquatch.
Second, the rock throwing. Sasquatches are known to throw rocks at people, not to actually hit them, but to harass or scare them off. I personally had a rock the size of a football thrown across a river that was about 100 feet wide, and it landed about 10 feet behind me. The rock was too big and was thrown too far for it to have been a human throwing it.
