California Bigfoot Expedition

Postponed (Permit issues)

Hopefully the permit issues will be resolved before hunting season, which begins August 16th. You can add your name to the call-back list by emailing Expedition@BFRO.net

BFRO organizers bring participants to areas where they will have encounters with Bigfoots at night. The odds of success depend on their selection of locations, among other things. Selecting the best locations depends upon sighting/encounter information -- the more, the better -- so the BFRO selects organizers who have the most information in a given state, and who have experience organizing trips there.

The lead expedition organizer in California is Robert Collier. He's a police officer from Southern California who knows the most reliable places in the state for a sasquatch encounter. He can take credit for many successes over the past few years.

Robert takes a limited number of "newbies" (non-members) each year because most attendees are "repeaters" who have been attending his trips for years. He's very picky about who he allows to participate. You need to be well-equipped for his trips.

To inquire about signing up for this expedition see the BFRO Expedition FAQ.

There is a relatively high density of sasquatches in California but only in specific regions ... Most parts of California have none.

The most dependable areas for sasquatches in California:

1) The coastal mountain ranges north of San Francisco and west of Redding.

2) Parts of the High Sierras (Sierra Nevada Mountains).

On some expeditions Robert hits spots in Nor Cal, on others he leads his group to spots in the High Sierras. If you register for this expedition you must be prepared to go to either region because the location might change beforehand depending upon conditions and access.  Both areas are reliable sasquatch zones.
