Coordinates: 45.694750, -87.747750

NEAREST TOWN: Faithorn

NEAREST ROAD: Menominee CO Rd 388

OBSERVED: We were coyote hunting and when we first sat down my buddy says “did you hear that” I said “hear what” then he said “it sounded like a wood knock” I didn’t think much of it and we went on to call for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of calling I stand up to sign the field edge and when I sign I see 2 huge glowing eyes like a yellowish bright color I’ve never seen before and it was high enough off the ground my first thought was the land owners put a reflective sign in a tree. So I scope in on it and I realize whatever it was, was hiding behind a tree looking around it. So my buddy’s start scoping in on it to. Then it proceeded to crouch down low to the ground and look around the other side of the tree. Then it disappeared for about 10 seconds then popped up 10 yards to the right of where it first was and it was looking around a tree again and when we all scoped in on it we all clear as day witnessed it crouch down like a person and it vanished. I’ve been in the woods all of my life and seen all shorts of eye shine and tonight I seen the unexplainable.

ALSO NOTICED: My buddy had told me 40 minutes prior to the sighting that he thought he heard a woodknock but had laughed it off at the time

OTHER WITNESSES: 3 and hunting with me

OTHER STORIES: No

TIME AND CONDITIONS: 9:30 at night and full moon cloudy with a slight breeze

ENVIRONMENT: Large agricultural field surrounded by swamp near by.

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Rich Meyer:

After communication with Tyler, we have more details to add to his incident.
/
The eyeshine would change in intensity from the full moonlight to the spot light. The eyes looked to be the size of a reflector on a bicycle. Before the eye shine was witnessed, the dogs at the neighboring house started whining, barking and acting strange. I happen to know the neighbor. The dogs are trained to hunt bear and raccoon. Generally the dogs are quiet when in there kennels.

Tyler hunts this field every weekend and is familiar with the surrounding area and the animals both wild and domestic. The coyotes were unusually quiet this evening. The hunting party was using a FoxPro Call with the sound of a deer in distress. He uses a Vortex Razor HD 20x50 scope on his rifle.

The area has sufficient cover, food and water to support bigfoots, as well as several ways to exit from the place of the sighting.

*UPDATE 4/9/23*
I just talked with one of the other Coyote hunters from that night, he had no knowledge that this report was out there and is a skeptic. With out being prompted or asked any questions he confirmed the eye color, height, distance and circumstances of the sighting. Before this sighting these guys hunted this field every other weekend, since the incident they have not been back to this field to hunt.
