A few plastic baggies are included in the kit. Baggies are the
camera's main defense against rain and need to be replaced as soon
as any tears or holes are visible.
With care, one plastic baggy should last as long as the camera is
deployed.
|
 |
Slide the camera in the baggy. Fold
the slack over the back. |
 |
Stretch a rubberband around the bagged
camera.
There are various ways to make the opening for the camera lens.
You can pinch off that part of the bag, or cut a hole with a razor
blade. The example shows an Exacto knife. |
 |
You can partially open the baggie to turn the film advance wheel.
Notice the gray oval button on top of the camera. That button pops
up when the film is advanced all the way and is ready to fire. Keep
turning the advance wheel until it does pop up and you can't advance
any further.

The finger points to the flash charger button. Hold down the button
for a few seconds until the light on the back is a bright as it
will get.
The red light will disappear when you release the button, but the
flash will be charged and ready to go.
The charge on a Kodak FunSaver will hold for at least 12 hours.
