Hold up the bracket under a tree branch and mark the spots for
the screws by poking the wood with a nail.
The photos show an installation under a patio beam. You should do
this as well -- practice with the Morty Kit at home in your yard
or patio before installing it in a high position. You should not
try to install one the very first time while standing on a ladder.

 |
Use the screws provided in the kit to attach the bracket to the
branch. Have extras screws in your pocket because you will probably
drop some while trying to install it.
|
 |
Notice the nail on the side of the beam. The nail provides an anchor
for the rear rubber band.
The position of the nail shown in the photo is not ideal -- better
to line up the nail with the bracket bar pointing in that direction.

The photos shows how the bracket will look with the rubber bands
attached.
The last photo shows how the rubber bands hold the camera to the
bracket.
The rubbber bands can be stretched across various parts of the
camera and frame.
